A semi-automatic fly reel such as the Soldarini Daytona Semiautomatic Euronymph was specially developed for modern Euronymph fishing and combines innovation, lightness and maximum performance. By simply operating the ergonomic lever, the spool is accelerated and picks up several metres of line in a matter of seconds, comfortably with the rod hand. Especially when fishing with fine monofilament or tactical nymph lines, the fast line take-up effectively prevents loose line from getting caught in the water or drifting away uncontrollably.
The Daytona impresses with its particularly light, fast and powerful design. Made from CNC-machined 6061 Aerograde aluminium and anodised in matt black, it is extremely robust with minimal weight. The large arbour design ensures high retrieve speed and reduces memory effects of thin lines. A precise, micrometrically adjustable drag reliably protects even the finest leaders during the fight. The ceramic SIC line outlet ensures optimum line flow and prevents abrasion - even when used intensively with the thinnest Euronymph lines.
Another highlight is the exclusive quick-release spool, which enables quick and easy spool changes. The extra-long, ergonomically CNC-machined lever is optimised for modern down-locking reel seats. An innovative offset reel foot also ensures perfect balance on light nymph rods.
The Daytona is available in two sizes: 75 mm for line classes #0 to #4 and #2 to class #5, thus covering the entire range of modern Euronymph set-ups.
